Karmann Ghia Type 14 from 1973

The chassis was not too much rusted, only the ledges were replaced.

The chassis was the first part of the car completed.

After anti-rust paint and black paint, the chassis received 4 news shock's absorbers and a new steering damper.

Moreover, the whole braking system was replaced : new steel lines, hoses, wheel cylinders, callipers, master cylinder, . . .

While spending our time to restore the chassis, the motor has been totally overhauled by a specialist. I didn't have at that moment the necessaries knowledge and experience to do it myself.

Ah !!! Which pleasure these first turns of wheels on the chassis in my garden !
